Z32 Testing
CSA Z32 testing will ensure a safe patient care area for staff and patients and is required in any new patient care area. Z32 testing provides test results that assure the safety and effectiveness of the installation. It will also confirm that the requirements of the CSA Z32-15 and the current CEC are met. We use the most up to date equipment in the industry and will provide a professional report that includes test data for your records and review.
Our equipment tests for:
Voltage drop under load
Testing of voltage between ground points
Ground return voltage for grounded systems
Polarity
GFCI operation
Testing to ensure no inadvertent neutral to ground faults are present
Pull out force on the receptacle
Confirm the type of receptacle meets code requirements
Make sure receptacles are identified properly
Thermal Imaging
We use FLIR Thermal Imaging equipment to locate possible future faults. This preventative testing will save the company downtime, equipment damage, and possible personal injury. we look for hot spots in equipment from loose connections, overloaded circuits, or wrong installations. We provide a report which includes our recommendations for repair to the issues found. This report includes thermal pictures overlaid on equipment for a better understanding of the possible faults and area of the location of the fault.
